Activities 2010
- February ~ Book parcels sent out to Botswana, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zambia ( for some reason this group of parcels have been very troublesome
with some taking an age to arrive , some disappearing and some being return
to us by the overseas post office.
- Equipment for QA sent out to Malawi via South Africa sent out Feb 2010
through our colleagues at idc (see our links)
- February ~ Meena Amlani resigned as a trustee
- Leaflets update to include our new trustees.
- March 2010 ~ "The Strategic Plan 2010 ~ 2015" adopted as living
document. Document can be downloaded in full on the information dropdown
on the homepage.
- June 2010 ~ Ann Paris represented us on the ISRRT/ WRETF stand at
the UKRC.
- September 2010 ~ Kay Collett represented us at the ISRRT
Congress in the Gold Coast, Australia
- In September 2010 Julie Armstrong a UK born radiographer, now based in
The Netherlands, joined us as a trustee. She has worked in South Africa,
Zambia, Uganda and Egypt is still working for projects in Zambia and Uganda.
her wealth of experience will be very useful in helping the WRETF to
move forward.
- Leaflets updated AGAIN to include our new trustee .
- Dominique Zerroug our French trustee was one of the facilitators for
our French speaking colleagues in Togo in November. The WRETF supplied
French texts for the workshop. To read her for report on the

Jonathon Mazal has not only sent us a book of very good recent second-hand
text books but he has also entered and completed a Half Ironman Competition
in August 2010. His swim , cycle and run raised a fantastic $700 for WRETF
funds. He is also organising further collections of books and is part of a
face book group of radiographic technicians to coordinate collection of
